Privacy for visitors

When you visit this site, our web servers record each request: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. We use these logs only to keep Bokly secure and working, for example to detect attacks and fix errors. They are not used to track you or for marketing, and only the people who run Bokly can see them. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The servers are in Germany.

The logs are kept for up to 15 days and then deleted. Weekly server backups made by our hosting provider, stored in Lithuania (EU), can contain them for up to 3 more weeks.

When you book an appointment, the salon decides how your booking is used, and Bokly stores your name, phone number and email address on its behalf. They are deleted from the booking database 14 days after the appointment and are never used for marketing.

No cookies are set until you choose a language, sign in or open a link to manage a booking. If you choose a language, a cookie remembers your choice for up to one year. Signing in and managing a booking use cookies for authentication and security. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

Under the conditions set out in applicable data protection law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. Requests may be sent to the contact address above. You may lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Requests must be answered without undue delay and within one month of receipt. Where permitted by law, the responsible controller may extend this period by up to two additional months due to the complexity or number of requests. You must be informed of any extension and its reasons within the first month.
